Academic Environment
The Heart & Vascular Center is closely affiliated with Case Western Reserve University, one of the nation’s leading medical schools. All faculty maintain appointments at the school of medicine, often holding primary and secondary appointments in basic science departments of the university. Many students and clinicians at the University receive scientific training at the Rammelkamp Center. The Rammelkamp Center is located at MetroHealth Medical Center, which is a principal affiliated teaching hospital for the university.
